Multiple Myeloma: what are the symptoms?
Multiple Myeloma is a cancer that has little or no symptoms until the disease progresses! The cancer is caused by an overproduction of certain proteins of the white blood cells. What happens is that tumors grow in the plasma cells inside bones in different parts of the body so the disease needs to be treated as soon as possible. Symptoms include:
- pain in the bones
- weird bone fractures
- infections that repeat or won’t heal properly
- weakness or loss of feeling in the legs
Multiple Myeloma linked to Agent Orange exposure.
Can you get VA Benefits if you’re a vet with Multiple Myeloma?
The VA says that Multiple myeloma “veterans who develop multiple myeloma and were exposed to Agent Orange or other herbicides during military service do not have to prove a connection between their disease and military service to be eligible to receive VA disability compensation.”
But the VA may have denied your claim and now you need help.
We would be honored to help you. If you are having trouble getting your claim approved, please call us at 888-959-9908. Our team of VA disability lawyers, doctors, psychologists, vocational experts, and case managers are ready to help you though this difficult time in your life.
